May 21, 2015: SpaceX’s Dragon spacecraft has completed its sixth Commercial Resupply Services (CRS) cargo mission to the International Space Station (ISS). Odyssey engineers supported from the Johnson Space Center Mission Control Complex as Dragon was released and departed from ISS this morning. Re-entry followed a few hours later, with successful splashdown occurring in the Pacific Ocean at 16:42 GMT. Odyssey’s role in Dragon development was extensive, including Dragon Guidance Navigation and Control (GN&C) and System Engineering design support, as well as Independent Verification and Validation of all safety critical software.
