August 26, 2016: SpaceX’s Dragon spacecraft has completed the ninth of its Commercial Resupply Services (CRS) cargo missions to the International Space Station (ISS). Odyssey engineers supported from the Johnson Space Center Mission Control Complex as release and departure from ISS went smoothly this morning. Re-entry followed a few hours later, with successful splashdown occurring on time at 15:47 GMT. Odyssey’s role in Dragon development was extensive, including Dragon Guidance Navigation and Control (GN&C) and System Engineering design support, as well as Independent Verification and Validation of all safety critical software.
