February 20, 2016: The Orbital ATK Cygnus has successfully completed the OA-4 mission, its fourth flight under the Commercial Resupply Services (CRS) contract to conduct cargo missions to the International Space Station (ISS). Odyssey engineers supported from the Johnson Space Center Mission Control Complex as release and departure from ISS went smoothly on February 19, with release occurring at 12:26 GMT. Re-entry followed a day later, with successful destructive re-entry completed at approximately 16:00 GMT. Odyssey’s role in Cygnus development was extensive, including System Engineering design support, Concept of Operations development, Robotic Capture design and analysis, and Independent Verification and Validation of all safety critical software.
