April 12, 2014: Odyssey participated in the 26th annual JSC Chili Cook-off on April 12, 2014. This was the second time Odyssey has participated in the event; this year’s team theme was “Chilisius Odysseus”. It was a beautiful day of sunshine and fun at the Gilruth Recreation Center Picnic area. Cooking started at 7 a.m. and the team had to have their contest entry chili ready for public tasting at noon; turn-in time of the competition was 2 p.m. Throughout the day plenty of visitors came by to support the team and taste the chili, and to enjoy the fun atmosphere of the day’s events.
Team Chilisius Odysseus had a great time and is looking forward to next year!
